Sin embargo, muchas personas abusan de los helados con azúcares refinados sin dar la posibilidad a otros dulces que pueden ser más saludables y nutritivos. Además de las frutas, que todos sabemos que nos aportan una gran cantidad de sales minerales, tenemos una gran variedad de postres fáciles.
La mayoría de los postres caseros veraniegos tienen como base frutas de temporada como la sandía, las fresas, los arándanos, los albaricoques o los plátanos que incluso tienen la capacidad de sustituir los azúcares añadidos.

Para empezar este postre de queso crema con fresas mezclamos el vinagre de módena, el de Jerez, la sal, la pimienta negra, la miel y medio vaso de zumo de naranja. Si lo queremos más dulce sólo tenemos que añadir más miel.
Una vez terminado esto, cortaremos en cubitos las fresas y las cubriremos con el marinado mezclándolo todo y dejándolo en el frigorífico durante 30 minutos.
Mientras tanto, batiremos el queso fresco desnatado hasta que quede cremoso y lo repartiremos en las copas para añadir luego las fresas y un poco de jugo por encima.
Necesitaremos 700 ml de leche fresca entera, 150 gr de arroz bomba, 1 rama de canela, cáscaras de limón, 10-12 dátiles triturados para la crema de dátil y canela en polvo para decorar.
El primer paso es hervir la leche junto a la rama de canela y las cáscaras de limón mientras que remojamos el arroz en agua durante 5 minutos. Cuando la leche hierva echamos el arroz y removemos hasta que esté hecho.
Para acabar, vertemos la crema de dátil y seguimos removiendo durante unos minutos. Apagamos el fuego, lo servimos en los boles y lo dejamos enfriar.
Si estos vasitos de postres no nos convencen siempre podemos optar por los helados de frutas naturales que hacían nuestras madres. Mezclar y triturar frutas que tengamos en casa, añadir un poco de leche y dejar en el congelador.
